Failures are Stepping Stones

Dear Brothers and Sisters
Remember, a setback doesn’t define your destiny.

Have you hit a roadblock or faced an unexpected twist in your journey? Are you under the fear of failure in studies, jobs, businesses, and relationships?

Remember, a setback doesn’t define your destiny and can be overcome with God's assurance.

Think of Thomas Edison, who failed thousands of times before finally inventing the light bulb. He famously said, “I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.” Or consider Sachin Tendulkar, revered as the god of cricket, who holds the record for the most dismissals in the 90s—a total of 28 times.

Even the spacecraft Chandrayaan missions have seen ups and downs. While Chandrayaan-1 faced setbacks, Chandrayaan-2 triumphed, marking the first landing on the moon's south pole.

Setbacks often arise from inadequate preparation, poor choices, or wrong associations. Sometimes, disappointments are divine appointments, urging us to wait for the best. They might not align with our schedule, reminding us that God's timing is different.

Failure is not the end when we trust in God. It’s an inevitable part of life, but how we respond to it determines our success. Rise above self-pity, self-condemnation, and comparisons. Believe in God and seek His guidance, for He directs our steps.

We must take time to analyse our failures, learn from our mistakes, stay focused on our goals, and persevere. Turn setbacks into stepping stones toward success.

To a people who are downcast, God says, I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for, (Jeremiah 29:11) God can change our bad into good.

Trusting God embracing our failures as lessons, will let God guide our path towards success. Let’s never forget, that the only true failure is giving up. Persevere with God’s presence, strength, and wisdom. He will never let us down, and we will rise again, in an amazing way.

Take hold of God’s Word that says “ though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again” (Proverbs 24:16).

Psalm 37:24 comforts us with, "Though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand." When you fail, God’s hand is always there to lift you. It’s through His strength that you can rise again and fulfil your purpose.

Why wait! Get up and Go on
